SO, YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR HOME TO BE MORE BEAUTIFUL?

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

In a world filled with so much uncertainty, we crave a place of our own that is full of peace, welcoming, beauty & a sense of calm.

I’m here to help you accomplish that by bringing you art that speaks all of these things into your home.

CORE VALUES

Jenny’s Core Values are woven into each of her creative endeavors. They travel from the foundation of her ideas, to the expressions and feeling in her work, and into the words that she crafts. Most importantly, these values are meant to enter your home and find a place on your walls.

WELCOMING & BEAUTIFUL

You’ve been invited. Come on in, kick off your shoes and stay a while. This place is like sitting at my dinner table. I’ve spent hours carefully planning and preparing beautiful things just for you. Take a look around. I hope you find something you like that makes you feel at home too.

ART TO FEEL AT HOME

CULTIVATING MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS

When we dig a little deeper and stay a little longer, we begin to trust each other a little bit more. Let’s continue breaking bread and spending time together. I have many journeys to come, stories to share and creative endeavors to show you. I would love it if you would share with me too.

JENNY SPIRES

Jenny Spires is an Indiana-based oil painter whose work explores florals, interiors, still life, and the quiet places where daily life slows down. Her paintings are shaped by loose, impressionistic brushwork and an attentive eye for the way color holds emotion and how it carries memory, mood, and meaning in even the simplest moments.

Her earliest fascination with color began at age four while watching a Sesame Street segment on how crayons were made. The moment a finished crayon was placed into a child’s hand, held up close, studied with wonder, stayed with her. Jenny still approaches color the same way: pausing, noticing, and letting her world narrow to the soft harmony of hues and light. That instinct guides everything in her studio, from tiny plein air studies to larger narrative works.

Before returning to painting full time, Jenny built a photography business while raising her family. Those years behind the camera sharpened her sensitivity to composition, gesture, and atmosphere, but painting remained her first language, quietly waiting. As her life opened up again, the easel reclaimed its place, and she found herself drawn deeply into the honest joy of building form stroke by stroke.

Her work often begins with personal moments: her son trailing behind his dad in the yard, early morning light drifting across a café counter, market flowers gathered in jars, or a scattering of hydrangeas commissioned by a collector with a story of their own. Other pieces come from the sketchbook pages where she lets her ideas roam - color, notes, relationships, memories, and imperfect experiments. Whether in the studio or plein air, Jenny paints to honor small beauty, honest emotion, and the quiet rhythms that make ordinary days feel meaningful.

Jenny has exhibited in the 101st Hoosier Salon Annual Exhibition (2025), the HCAA Midwest Juried Exhibitions (2nd–4th Annual, 2023-2025), multiple Nickel Plate Arts and Noblesville Creates shows including NPArts Prized (People’s Choice Award, 2022), and the Hoosier Salon Art Gallery in New Harmony.

She lives and works just north of Indianapolis, painting with strong coffee nearby, an audiobook playing, and a table full of brushes ready for whatever story the next canvas will hold.
